In Cupid and Psyche II, viene rappresentato il mito di amore e psiche. Amore il cuore, illuminato dal passaggio di Psiche, l’anima. La farfalla volando sul cuore cambia colore al suo passaggio. Da bianca diventa blu e da blu diventa rosa andandosene. Questo lavoro appartiene alla serie intitolata "Way back into Soul", in cui sono rappresentati antichi miti in chiave moderna.

In Cupid and Psyche II, the myth of cupid and psyche is represented. Love is the heart, illuminated by the passage of Psyche, the soul. The butterfly flying over the heart changes color as it passes. From white it becomes blue and from blue it becomes pink as it goes away. This work belongs to a series entitled "Way back into Soul", in which ancient myths are represented in a modern way.

Tre sono le forze dell’anima umana: pensare, sentire, volere. Willing rappresenta le passioni terrene, per la precisione l’alternarsi delle passioni terrene. Nella prima parte del video le mani arrotolano e tendono il filo della vita accompagnate dal suono del pianoforte. Nella seconda parte il velo diventa il protagonista, dal velo rosso al velo verde, dal ricamo verde che si accende di rosso, e nuovamente al verde, dal culmine al superamento delle passioni terrene. Come le sibille profetizzavano trascrivendo i loro vaticini, così i versi ricamati sul velo richiamano all’atto creativo che libererà l’uomo dai suoi istinti inferiori, liberandolo dal ciclo delle incarnazioni. 

Synopsis

There are three forces of the human soul: thinking, feeling and willing. Willing represents the earthly passions, to be precise the alternation of earthly passions. In the first part of the video the hands roll and stretch the thread of life accompanied by the sound of the piano. In the second part the veil becomes the protagonist, from the red veil to the green veil, from the green embroidery that lights up red, and back to green, from the culmination to the overcoming of earthly passions. Just as the sibyls prophesied by transcribing their prophecies, so the verses embroidered on the veil recall the creative act that will free man from his lower instincts, freeing him from the cycle of incarnations.

Tre sono le forze dell’anima umana: pensare, sentire, volere. Willing rappresenta con la sua forma quadrata le passioni terrene, per la precisione l’alternarsi delle passioni terrene. Dal velo rosso al velo verde, dal ricamo verde che si accende di rosso, e nuovamente al verde, dal culmine al superamento delle passioni terrene. Come le sibille profetizzavano trascrivendo i loro vaticini, così i versi ricamati sul velo richiamano all’atto creativo che libererà l’uomo dai suoi istinti inferiori, liberandolo dal ciclo delle incarnazioni.

Tre sono le forze dell’anima umana: pensare, sentire, volere. Thinking rappresenta con la sua forma a mandorla e posto davanti ad una finestra, l’illuminazione del pensiero che irraggia un vaticinio, quello dato dal pensare. Come le sibille profetizzavano trascrivendo i loro vaticini, così i versi ricamati sul velo bianco circondato da quello giallo, richiamano all’atto del pensare interiore, trasmettono quello che il divino vuol far capire all’uomo moderno: il pensare vi lega al divino e vivificandolo vi renderà liberi. La seconda parte del video esplica l’atto del pensare per immagini con l’apparizione del simbolo del divino triangolo che man mano si illumina e illumina tutta l’oscurità a sottolineare la ricerca verso la verità che renderà libera l’umanità.

There are three forces of the human soul: thinking, feeling and willing. Thinking represents with its almond shape and placed in front of a window, the illumination of thought that radiates a prophecy, the one given by thinking. As the sibyls prophesied by transcribing their predictions, so the verses embroidered on the white veil surrounded by the yellow one, recall the act of inner thinking, they transmit what the divine wants modern man to understand: thinking binds you to the divine and enlivening it it will set you free. The second part of the video explains the act of thinking in images with the appearance of the symbol of the divine triangle which gradually lights up and illuminates all the darkness to underline the search for the truth that will set humanity free.

In "Chrysoprase", la cui traduzione è Crisoprasio, viene rappresentato il minerale in primo piano con incisa la runa Ansuz la cui capacità è di aumentare le abilità comunicative ed espressive. Il Crisoprasio è indicato come decima pietra di fondazione delle mura della Città Santa nell’apocalisse di Giovanni e indica l’apostolo Andrea. La pietra poggia sopra un tappeto kilim Qashqai, del XIX secolo, di Farsi. Il tappeto è un omaggio al divino e per sua natura crea un’atmosfera mistica, ad ogni nodo intrecciato è legato il pensiero di chi lo ha lavorato dedicandovi ore della propria vita. Su di un tappeto persiano è stato scritto: “Hanno filato la sua trama col filo dell’anima”. 

Gli attributi di Andrea sono la croce decussata, i pesci e la rete da pesca, rappresentati nella vetrata che fa da sfondo. Questo lavoro appartiene alla serie intitolata "Way back into Soul", in cui sono rappresentati antichi miti in chiave moderna.

In “Chrysoprase", the mineral is represented in the foreground engraved with the Ansuz rune, whose ability is to increase communication and expressive skills. Chrysoprase is indicated as the tenth foundation stone of the walls of the Holy City in the apocalypse of John and indicates the apostle Andrew. The stone rests on a 19th-century kilim Qashqai carpet from Farsi. The carpet is a tribute to the divine and by its nature creates a mystical atmosphere, the thoughts of those who worked on it are linked to each intertwined knot, dedicating hours of their lives to it. On a Persian carpet it was written: "They spun its weft with the thread of the soul". Andrew's attributes are the diagonal cross, the fish and the fishing net, represented in the stained glass window in the background.This work belongs to a series entitled "Way back into Soul", in which ancient myths are represented in a modern way.

Obviousness

 

ARTISTIC PROJECT by Alessia Delvecchio Obviousness means something evident, which nowadays should be accepted as a concept in our normal thinking, but which in reality is still not accepted by the masses. Obviousness significa qualcosa di ovvio, che al giorno di oggi dovrebbe essere accettato come concetto nella nostra normalità di pensiero, ma che in realtà ancora non è accolto dalle masse.
