Un capello è capace di assumere l'aspetto di una perfetta curva algebrica aperta, una curva che non coincide con i suoi estremi. Lo scorrere del tempo e gli elementi possono agire su di un capello lasciato per terra e ci insegnano che il nostro mondo è governato da un elemento geometrizzante. Il Lituo è un tipo di spirale archimedea con equazione polare. Prende il nome dalla forma del manico ricurvo del bastone portato in processione dagli auguri romani. Quest'opera appartiene ad una serie dal titolo "Synthetic Worlds", in cui sono rappresentati dei mondi alternativi alla realtà.

One hair is capable of assuming the appearance of a perfect open algebraic curve, a curve where the beginning and end points are different. The passing of time and the elements can act on one hair left on the ground, and teach us that our world is governed by a geometrizing element.

In mathematics, a Lituus is a type of Archimedean spiral with polar equation. It takes its name from the shape of the curved handle of the wand carried in procession by the Roman augurs.
