Sinossi

E’ l’alba, il sole sorge e compie il suo tragitto sulla volta celeste sino al tramonto. Sullo sfondo una striscia di terra su cui si erge in lontananza un archetipo, un essere-pensiero. In primo piano una distesa d’acqua. A mezzogiorno un archetipo sorge lentamente dalle acque e proprio quando il sole è tramontato, l’essere-pensiero è nato. L’eternità è fissa sullo sfondo, solo il tempo, segnato dallo scorrere del sole sull’orizzonte, permette ai pensieri di poter sorgere e incarnarsi. La contrapposizione tra fissità e movimento, l’assenza di tempo e il tempo danno origine all’armonia del creato.

Synopsis

It's dawn, the sun rises and makes its journey across the vault of heaven until sunset. In the background a strip of land on which an archetype, a thought-being, stands in the distance. In the foreground an expanse of water. At midday an archetype slowly rises from the waters and just when the sun has set, the thought-being is born. Eternity is fixed in the background, only time, marked by the passing of the sun on the horizon, allows thoughts to arise and incarnate. The contrast between fixity and movement, the absence of time and time give rise to the harmony of creation.

Un capello è capace di assumere l'aspetto di una perfetta curva algebrica aperta, una curva che non coincide con i suoi estremi. Lo scorrere del tempo e gli elementi possono agire su di un capello lasciato per terra e ci insegnano che il nostro mondo è governato da un elemento geometrizzante.

Le curve sono molto diffuse in natura: molluschi, galassie, piante ecc. In questa opera si possono vedere vari tipi di curve: curva di Laporte, curva di Boddorf, epitrocoide, cardioide, lemniscata di Gerono, astroide. Quest'opera appartiene ad una serie dal titolo "Synthetic Worlds", in cui sono rappresentati dei mondi alternativi alla realtà.

One hair is capable of assuming the appearance of a perfect open algebraic curve, a curve where the beginning and end points are different. The passing of time and the elements can act on one hair left on the ground, and teach us that our world is governed by a geometrizing element.

The curves often appears in nature: molluscs, galaxies, plants, etc. In this work you can see various types of curves: curve of Laporte, curve of Boddorf, epitrochoid, cardioid, lemniscate of Gerono, astroid. This work belongs to a series entitled "Synthetic Worlds", in which are represented alternative worlds to reality.

Un capello è capace di assumere l'aspetto di una perfetta curva algebrica aperta, una curva che non coincide con i suoi estremi. Lo scorrere del tempo e gli elementi possono agire su di un capello lasciato per terra e ci insegnano che il nostro mondo è governato da un elemento geometrizzante. Il Lituo è un tipo di spirale archimedea con equazione polare. Prende il nome dalla forma del manico ricurvo del bastone portato in processione dagli auguri romani. Quest'opera appartiene ad una serie dal titolo "Synthetic Worlds", in cui sono rappresentati dei mondi alternativi alla realtà.

In mathematics, a Lituus is a type of Archimedean spiral with polar equation. It takes its name from the shape of the curved handle of the wand carried in procession by the Roman augurs.
