Questo lavoro rappresenta il concetto di creazione del mondo. La separazione dello spirito lunare dagli spiriti solari. Ciò che conta nell'opera è il gesto, libero, quasi casuale, come sembra operare Dio. Quest'opera appartiene ad una serie dal titolo "Synthetic Worlds", in cui sono rappresentati dei mondi alternativi alla realtà.

This work represents the concept of creation of the world. The separation of the lunar spirit from the solar spirits. What matters in the work is the gesture, free, almost casual, as God seems to work. This work belongs to a series entitled "Synthetic Worlds", in which are represented alternative worlds to reality.

The Five Elements

This work represents the five elements that according to Plato constituted our universe. To do this work I used coloured cotton thread hand-sewn on paper: magenta is the colour used for fire; black is used for earth, yellow is used for air, white is used for water and all this four colours are used for the fifth element, the aether. These colours were chosen for their alchemical bond with the elements. This work belongs to a series entitled "Synthetic Worlds", in which are represented alternative worlds to reality.

Questo lavoro rappresenta i cinque elementi che secondo Platone costituivano il nostro universo. Per fare questo lavoro ho usato del filo di cotone colorato cucito a mano su carta: il magenta è il colore usato per il fuoco; il nero è usato per la terra, il giallo per l'aria, il bianco per l'acqua e tutti questi quattro colori sono usati per il quinto elemento, l'etere. Questi colori sono stati scelti per il loro legame alchemico con gli elementi.

Questo lavoro appartiene alla serie intitolata "Synthetic Worlds", in cui sono rappresentati mondi alternativi alla realtà.
