"The metamorphosis of the Hesperides"
"The metamorphosis of the Hesperides" vede il giorno successivo al compimento dell'impresa di Eracle, nello stesso giardino arrivarono a porre piede gli Argonauti, che assistettero alla trasformazione in alberi delle Esperidi: un pioppo nero, un salice e un olmo. Erano morte per la disperazione dovuta alla perdita del loro tesoro e del loro amato custode e protettore Ladone. In questa versione Aglaia si tramuta in salice e il suo simbolo runico kenaz è rovesciato nella lenta agonia che porta allo spegnimento della vita; Talie si tramuta in pioppo e sul tronco è visibile il simbolo Fehu rovesciato a simboleggiare la perdita; Eufrosine si trasforma in olmo e sul tronco appare Wunjo capovolta ad indicare la sua triste solitudine. Questo lavoro appartiene alla serie intitolata "Way back into Soul", in cui sono rappresentati antichi miti in chiave moderna.
"The metamorphosis of the Hesperides" sees the day following the accomplishment of Heracles' enterprise, the Argonauts came to set foot in the same garden, who witnessed the transformation into trees of the Hesperides: a black poplar, a willow and an elm. They died from desperation due to the loss of their treasure and their beloved guardian and protector Ladon. In this version Aglaea is transformed into a willow and her kenaz runic symbol is turn in the slow agony that leads to the extinction of life upside down; Thalia transforms into poplar and the Fehu symbol turned is visible on the trunk to symbolize the loss upside down; Euphrosyne transforms into an elm and Wunjo appears turned on the trunk to indicate her sad loneliness upside down. This work belongs to a series entitled "Way back into Soul", in which ancient myths are represented in a modern way.
