Le tre Esperidi nella mitologia greca si di differenziavano dalle Cariti, le Grazie, per le vesti. Mentre le Grazie venivano rappresentate nude, le Esperidi erano vestite. Qui sono ricoperte da tute aderenti a motivi optical con tre simboli runici: Kenaz, Wunjo, Fehu. Questo lavoro appartiene alla serie intitolata "Way back into Soul", in cui sono rappresentati antichi miti in chiave moderna.

 The three Hesperides in Greek mythology differed from the Charites, the Graces, for their clothes. While the Graces were represented naked, the Hesperides were clothed. Here they are covered with adherent suits with optical motifs with three runic symbols: Kenaz, Wunjo, Fehu. This work belongs to a series entitled "Way back into Soul", in which ancient myths are represented in a modern way.

Le tre grazie nella mitologia greca si chiamavano Cariti ed erano Aglaia, lo splendore, Eufrosine, la gioia e Talie, la prosperità, tre doni che venivano portati nel mondo umano e naturale. Le grazie erano state generate dall'unione tra Zeus ed Eurinome e rappresentano la ricompensa dell'uomo virtuoso, infatti nelle mani portano i pomi delle Esperidi come simbolo di immortalità. In Aglaia compare come simbolo runico Kenaz al posto del suo organo sessuale. In Eufrosine compare il simbolo runico Wunjo e in Talie il simbolo runico Fehu, che in questa posizione non si vede perché la troviamo di spalle. Questo lavoro appartiene alla serie intitolata "Way back into Soul", in cui sono rappresentati antichi miti in chiave moderna.

The three graces in Greek mythology were called Charities and they were Aglaea, the splendor, Euphrosyne, the mirth and Thalia, the prosperity, three gifts that were brought into the human and natural world. The graces were generated by the union between Zeus and Eurynome and represent the reward of the virtuous man, in fact in their hands they carry the apples of the Hesperides as a symbol of immortality. In Aglaea, Kenaz appears as runic symbol in place of her sexual organ. In Euphrosyne the runic symbol Wunjo appears and in Thalia the runic symbol Fehu, which is not seen in this position because we find her from behind. This work belongs to a series entitled "Way back into Soul", in which ancient myths are represented in a modern way.

In "Where the world ends", che si può tradurre con "Dove finisce il mondo", viene rappresentato un piatto da frutta con le mele dorate del giardino delle Esperidi. Sono poste al centro di una tavola sopra una tovaglia con motivi di piante Composite e sorvegliate dal fido Ladone. Sullo sfondo un cielo semicoperto da una tenda. Il giardino delle Esperidi si trova su un'isola nelle terre remote al di là di Borea, all'estremo nord, dove si trovano i cardini del mondo e dove termina il giro delle stelle, questo è il mondo degli Iperborei. 

 

In "Where the world ends", a fruit plate with golden apples from the garden of the Hesperides is represented. They are placed in the center of a table on a tablecloth with Composite plants motifs and the faithful Ladone take care of them. In the background a sky half covered by a curtain. The garden of the Hesperides is located on an island in the remote lands beyond Boreas, in the far north, at the ends of the earth and the course of the stars ends there, this is the world of the Hyperboreans.
