Sinossi

Tre sono le forze dell’anima umana: pensare, sentire, volere. Willing rappresenta le passioni terrene, per la precisione l’alternarsi delle passioni terrene. Nella prima parte del video le mani arrotolano e tendono il filo della vita accompagnate dal suono del pianoforte. Nella seconda parte il velo diventa il protagonista, dal velo rosso al velo verde, dal ricamo verde che si accende di rosso, e nuovamente al verde, dal culmine al superamento delle passioni terrene. Come le sibille profetizzavano trascrivendo i loro vaticini, così i versi ricamati sul velo richiamano all’atto creativo che libererà l’uomo dai suoi istinti inferiori, liberandolo dal ciclo delle incarnazioni. 

Synopsis

There are three forces of the human soul: thinking, feeling and willing. Willing represents the earthly passions, to be precise the alternation of earthly passions. In the first part of the video the hands roll and stretch the thread of life accompanied by the sound of the piano. In the second part the veil becomes the protagonist, from the red veil to the green veil, from the green embroidery that lights up red, and back to green, from the culmination to the overcoming of earthly passions. Just as the sibyls prophesied by transcribing their prophecies, so the verses embroidered on the veil recall the creative act that will free man from his lower instincts, freeing him from the cycle of incarnations.

In "Chalcedony", la cui traduzione è Calcedonio, della varietà azzurra, viene rappresentato il minerale in primo piano con incisa la runa Mannaz la cui capacità è di aiutare a conoscere se stessi, ispirare la giusta relazione col prossimo e il divino, aiuta la cooperazione tra gli uomini per il bene comune. Il calcedonio è indicato come terza pietra di fondazione delle mura della Città Santa nell’apocalisse di Giovanni. Il calcedonio poggia sopra un tappeto caucasico Mogan, con il gul Memling, mentre sullo sfondo abbiamo un tappeto Bellini, sono chiamati così perché largamente usati dai due pittori nelle loro opere durante il Rinascimento. Il tappeto è un omaggio al divino e per sua natura crea un’atmosfera mistica, ad ogni nodo intrecciato è legato il pensiero di chi lo ha lavorato dedicandovi ore della propria vita. Su di un tappeto persiano è stato scritto: “Hanno filato la sua trama col filo dell’anima”. Questo lavoro appartiene alla serie intitolata "Way back into Soul", in cui sono rappresentati antichi miti in chiave moderna.

In "Chalcedony" of the blue variety, the mineral is represented in the foreground engraved with the Mannaz rune, it has the ability to help to know oneself, to inspire the right relationship with one's neighbor and with the divine, helps cooperation between men to the common good. Chalcedony is indicated as the third foundation stone of the walls of the Holy City in the apocalypse of John. The chalcedony rests on a Caucasian Mogan carpet, with the Memling gul, while in the background there is a Bellini carpet, so called because they were widely used by the two artists in their works during the Renaissance. The carpet is a tribute to the divine and by its nature creates a mystical atmosphere, the thoughts of those who worked on it are linked to each intertwined knot, dedicating hours of their lives to it. On a Persian carpet it was written: "They spun its weft with the thread of the soul". This work belongs to a series entitled "Way back into Soul", in which ancient myths are represented in a modern way.

In "Where the world ends", che si può tradurre con "Dove finisce il mondo", viene rappresentato un piatto da frutta con le mele dorate del giardino delle Esperidi. Sono poste al centro di una tavola sopra una tovaglia con motivi di piante Composite e sorvegliate dal fido Ladone. Sullo sfondo un cielo semicoperto da una tenda. Il giardino delle Esperidi si trova su un'isola nelle terre remote al di là di Borea, all'estremo nord, dove si trovano i cardini del mondo e dove termina il giro delle stelle, questo è il mondo degli Iperborei. 

 

In "Where the world ends", a fruit plate with golden apples from the garden of the Hesperides is represented. They are placed in the center of a table on a tablecloth with Composite plants motifs and the faithful Ladone take care of them. In the background a sky half covered by a curtain. The garden of the Hesperides is located on an island in the remote lands beyond Boreas, in the far north, at the ends of the earth and the course of the stars ends there, this is the world of the Hyperboreans.

Queste opere rappresentano il concetto di formazione della vita. Le forme prendono vita dal caos. Ciò che conta nell'opera è il gesto, libero, quasi casuale, come sembra operare Dio. Quest'opera appartiene ad una serie dal titolo "Synthetic Worlds", in cui sono rappresentati dei mondi alternativi alla realtà.

These works represent the concept of formation of life. The shapes come to life from chaos.

What matters in the work is the gesture, free, almost casual, as God seems to work. This work belongs to a series entitled "Synthetic Worlds", in which are represented alternative worlds to reality.
